Send Your Expired Grocery Coupons to Our Military Families Overseas!

Grocery Coupons WHAT to DO and WHERE to SEND THEM!!! Stop tossing those expired grocery coupons in the trash! Our U.S. military families stationed overseas are able to use them on base for up to six months after the manufacturer's expiration date! Help us keep our list of participating bases up to date... if you know one that would like to be added to our list please contact us. With the ever decreasing time limit on grocery coupons it's even more important than ever to use them wisely, and as I've written about previously in my Coupon Savings column, it's always great to share your unused coupons with other families who can use them. But what about those coupons that expire before you can use them, or even have a chance to give them away? The great news is when you send your expired grocery coupons to military families overseas they are able to use them on base up to 6-months after the expiration date. (Just keep in mind the time it takes for them to be mailed internationally--usually many weeks--and get them sent off soon!) Some bases even welcome you to send your coupons directly to them if you do not personally know a military family overseas. They will either distribute the coupon donations to needy families or place them in an area where they can be picked up by families at the PX and Commissary. (Please note: They can only accept regular manufacturer's coupons; no "in store" coupons or internet printed coupons.) AND... GrocerySavingTips.com continues to maintain a current list of these bases right here on this page! Unlike other address lists you may find on the Internet, we update ours every month. Maybe you know a military family that is currently stationed overseas? If so, please write to them and ask if their base would like our readers to send in expired grocery coupons. We would be happy to add them to our list and they can be removed at any time just by writing to the editor at the email address below. If you have any additional info or bases that we should ADD or REMOVE please contact michelle@grocerysavingtips.com. If you don't have a military family member overseas, maybe you know someone who does? Please have them contact us if they would like their base to be added to our mailing list!
Thank You for Helping Us Keep Our List Up to Date! :o)
U.S. Air Force: Please Note... The U.S. Post Office may request a person's contact name when mailing your coupons, please explain to them that we cannot maintain a list of personal contact names because they change so often. We are a volunteer group just donating grocery coupons to help our military families stationed overseas. The postal worker can also open and inspect the package if that will help and verify that the contents are just coupons being sent to our U.S. commissaries overseas. Addressing the package directly to the Commissary or "Family Services" may also help. * * * * * * * Family Services Program 39 MSS/MSF 48 MSS/DPF Family Support Center RAF Alconbury RAF Fairford
